GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- It’s been a week since the March 4th Primary Election, and it is projected Barack Obama will win the Texas Presidential Caucus, but in Grayson County, Hillary Clinton has come out on top.

Grayson County Democratic Party chairman Tony Beaverson says with the majority of the precincts reporting, Clinton has collected 224 delegates to the county convention as opposed to Obama's 178.

Beaverson says it was a record turnout for the caucus stage of the election and says since Texas doesn't usually factor into deciding a nominee, many people didn't know what to do.

Overall, Beaverson says the caucus went well.

"I personally would prefer to see us be a direct primary state and drop the caucus, just go with the count as the people vote and call it good," Beaverson says.

The Grayson County Democratic Convention is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 29.

She wouldn't have won if not for us Republicans crossing the line and voting for her.I wont vote for her in Nov. but she is a better candidate that Osama Obama. This guy was sworn in to the Senate on the Qur'an.It's time the Republican candidate went after him hard.cause there is plenty to go after.

I agree with Christy, why make Obama President of the United States when he pledges his allegiance to AFRICA?! It makes no sense at all. And for all you who think I am racist just because I am against Obama... I must reassure you I am far from racist. I just can't see having a commander in chief who OPENLY refuses to salute our AMERICAN flag. Also I believe it's time for a good Democrat to take the pedestal. Republicans are more interested in foreign affairs, whereas Democrats concentrate on what's here and an issue to many people within OUR country rather than sticking noses in other countries' business.

How can they let Barack Obama run for President of our Great Nation when he doesn't even salute our Flag. He turns his back on the American Flag. I sure don't want someone like that elected into office. What is the world coming to?

And you need to realize that we don't need another republican in office. Especially like the idiot we have now...

I have two daughters and I absolutely love the fact that a woman has a chance to be president. I'm not saying that I am voting for her, I am just proud that they have a role model now in the political world. They can see, that yes, they can be president.

I have "electile" dysfunction. No one worth getting up and getting out to vote for. What a sad situation for all in the USA.
