I have live my entire life in a very small and prejudice town in southeast Oklahoma. I am thankful and very humble that God has blessed me to live long enough to see my daughter grow into a wonderful wife and mother. As if that wasn't enough he has continued to allow and to see that an Africian Am.person can run for the highest office in this country and stand a very good chance of winning. With that been said, there has been alot of mud slinging the past two weeks. It is a shame when people are saying such hateful comments and the campaign is allowing them to say such wards that might cause more hatred. It doesn't matter how cut and dry one might think this election is, it is still about race within the race. After working in the public educational system for 33 years I have had to endure the fact that parents don't want their children in my class because of my skin color not the educational/cultural experiences that I could give their child. What a shame. This election could be great.
