TISHOMINGO, Okla. -- Celebrate Independence Day on July 1st in Tishomingo.
Get ready for a day full of fun including a parade, great food, live entertainment, creative arts and craft booths.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. and evening activities will be held at the Tishomingo High School at 7 p.m. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets.
Blanchard's Independence Celebration
BLANCHARD, Okla. -- Gather up the gang and head to Blanchard on Friday, July 1st for an early Independence Day Celebration
This festive celebration will take place at 6 p.m. to 10 p.m and is located near Between North Council Avenue and NE 10th Street. Free parking will be available behind Ace Hardware.
The evening will feature fun for the whole family including fireworks, food, live music, kids activities.
The Kid's Zone area will offer pony rides, games, inflatables, a petting zoo and many vendors.
There will be food vendors and organizational booths set up on the premises for guests to peruse. There will also be live music played by The Oklahoma Symphonic Band in addition to Banana Seat, a 60-70's band.
The grand finale fireworks show will kick off at approximately 10 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for comfortable seating while watching the sparks fly.

Sherman Lights on the Lake
SHERMAN, Texas – The city of Sherman along with Landmark Bank hosts Lights on the Lake on Monday, July 3 at Pecan Grove Park. Gates open at 3 p.m., Three Dog Night performs at 7 p.m. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
The event is free. Bring money for bounce houses and food vendors. Also bring blankets and lawn chairs.

MADILL, Okla. -- Bridgeview Marina will host a fireworks show from 8:30 -10 p.m. on Monday July 3 to celebrate Independence Day.

POCASSET, Okla. -- SaltCreek Casino is hosting a 4th of July celebration that is sure to be fun for the whole family.
Enjoy food trucks, face paintings, giveaways, live radio and even a bouncy house. All of this will conclude with a wonderful fireworks finale.
There will be a shuttle on site to transport patrons to and from the casino. Parking and viewing of the fireworks will also be available for patrons near the pond.
Artesian Hotel hosts July 4th at The Artesian
SULPHUR, Okla. – The annual July 4 celebration begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday along Muskogee Street in Sulphur.
This year’s celebration will feature family-friendly entertainment, live music, numerous food vendors and local shopping. A live DJ will be set up on Muskogee Street, playing music and entertaining guests beginning at 6 p.m. At approximately 7:30 p.m., the band Drive will play, followed by a performance of “America the Beautiful” and a Patriotic Dramatic Reading at dusk.
To wrap up the evening, the national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner”, will be performed at dark. Fireworks will start at approximately 9:20 p.m. and be accompanied by music along Muskogee Street.
The event is free and open to the public. Muskogee Street will be closed for the evening’s activities, but the Artesian Hotel parking garage will remain open. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets as seating will not be provided.
City of Denison presents 30th Annual Fourth of July Fireworks at Munson Stadium
DENISON, Texas -- The event begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 4. The Big Joe Walker concert begins at 7 p.m. Fireworks follow at dusk.
Denison HS cheerleaders will host fundraising concession inside the stadium. Patriotic items will also be sold. No lawn chairs, drinks, or coolers are allowed in the stadium.
Lake Murray Fireworks Display
ARDMORE, Okla. -- Head to Ardmore for an Independence Day celebration, Tuesday, July 4th, with family and friends to enjoy a colorful fireworks display over Lake Murray.

Fireworks at Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Okla.
DURANT, Okla. -- Choctaw Casino Resort is hosting a fireworks show to celebrate Independence Day at 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 4.
The largest pyrotechnic display in the area will electrify the skies over the Choctaw Event Center to celebrate the Nation’s birthday.
The fireworks show will be set to music from KLBC 106.3 and will begin at dusk at the Choctaw Event Center.
Butterfield’s Buffet and 1832 will also be offering fantastic food specials.
Marlow's Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration
MARLOW, Okla. -- Come celebrate Indpendence Day in good ole' fashion style at the Annual Independence Day Celebration in Marlow.
The 'Marlow Grove' traditional gathering dates all the way back to July 4, 1982, where Marlow's founder, A.B. Smythe and other city leaders came together to host a barbecue pit feast for the entire community.
Marlow's Old-Fashioned Independence Day Celebration will kick off with a parade on Main Street.

Winstar Fireworks Display
THACKERVILLE, Okla. -- Spend Fourth of July at Winstar watching fireworks.
As the sun goes down this 4th of July, the sparks will be flying and lighting up the beautiful southern Oklahoma sky at WinStar World Casino and Resort.
Spectators can view the fireworks from any location facing the Winstar Casino.
A popular location is the road parallel to I-35 in Thackerville.
Fireball Classic Memorial Run
ADA, Okla. -- Grab those running shoes and head to Ada for the Annual Fireball Classic 5K and 10K Memorial Run at Wintersmith Park.
This will be the 50th Annual Run of the Fireball Classic Memorial so we are adding a half marathon with relays available.
Water and Gatorade on course with fruit, pastry and water at finish. Insurance requires that no animals or wheels allowed on the course. Packet pickup is available the evening before the race Monday, July 3, 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Wintersmith Lodge, 1701 Wintersmith Lodge; or the morning of the race from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. for the 1/2 Marathon and 1/2 Marathon relay. Other runners will have til 6:30 for packet pickup.
This event will feature kids games including turtle racing, balloon races, hula hoop contest, water balloon catch and a watermelon seed spitting contest. Family games include water balloon tosses, tug of war, sack races and 'meteor egg attack'. Water Wars will begin following family games, so watch out!
The fun-packed day will also feature a small amusement park with concessions. The Wintersmith Park fireworks show will begin at dusk.
