September is National Preparedness Month. Join the Sherman Chamber of Commerce and Texoma Council of Governments on:

Friday September 5
9 a.m. - 12. p.m.
Grayson County College
Center for Workplace Learning Auditorium

Most small businesses do not survive disasters -- tornadoes, fires, or episodes of workplace violence. You have already decided your business is unique and you want it to be a success. Be the unusual business owner and plan for every contingency. Be the owner that makes certain profits don't go up in smoke or get blown away on the storm.

After a welcome from Sherman mayor Bill Magers, hear from preparedness experts from the Sherman Fire & Police Departments, TCOG, and others. Leave with a disaster plan in mind. Or just come for the door prizes. Win just one and you'll be better prepared!

Registration is free for members of the Sherman Chamber of Commerce and the Texoma Regional Public-Private Preparedness Coalition, $10 for all other participants. Please call 903-893-1184 to pre-register or go to http://www.shermanchamber.us.
