This week's A+ athlete is Lia Heers from Muenster High School.

Lia has been a regional qualifier in track but her specialty is basketball. She is a four-year letter winner and has been an all-district and an all-area selection for the Lady Hornets.

Lia is ranked number one in her senior class. She has competed in UIL math and spelling tournaments at the state and regional level and is a Hugh O'Brien Leadership Ambassador for Muenster High.
