We're curious as to what you think of KXII's web channel, KXII.com.

Think of this as a chance to sound off- What do you like? What don't you like? What would you like to see more of? Less of?

We'll read and post your opinions. Thank you for visiting KXII.com, and, by all means, leave a comment above!

I believe last weekend, it was reported that Dakota Hughes' aunt, who had care of the girl for the day, had picked up Mr. Belew at the local Albertson's store & took him home with her. It was reported that the two adults were drinking beer all day. If this report is true, then why is Mr. Belew the only person in jail & facing charges??? The aunt should be facing charges of child negelct, endangerment, & negligent homicide. Her actions were selfish & she was only thinking of getting drunk & getting laid, INSTEAD of thinking about the safety of the child in her care. THAT IS, IF THIS REPORT WAS TRUE about the aunt picking up the killer & bringing him to the house.

What state or federal law, if any, prohibits "KXII" from placing the 'City of McAlester, Okla' on the radar map? Our county is listed however, no "X" marks the spot. Sincerely --

Oak Ridge will receive a settlement Of approximately $143,000.00 in monies and assets. I have to ask what will the state do now?? My money is the State of Oklahoma, will not do anything.

I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT I AGREE WITH ALL THE PEOPLE ABOUT THE ILLEGAL MEXICANS AND ALSO THE VIETNAMESE, CHINESE AND ALL THE OTHER ILLEGALS THAT COME TO OUR COUNTRY FOR A FREE RIDE. WE ARE BORN HERE AND WORK AND RAISE OUR CHILDREN AND PAY TAXES AND CANNOT GET HELP WHEN WE NEED IT. IF WE WOULD JABBER IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE AND WERE ILLEGAL THEN ALL THE GOVT AGENCIES WOULD BE LINED UP TO HELP US AND PAY US TO LIVE HERE. WE HAVE KIDS OUT OF SCHOOL WANTING TO GO TO COLLEGE OR GET A JOB AND CAN'T BECAUSE WE HAVE GIVEN ALL THE JOBS AND COLLEGE FUND HELP TO THE ILLEGALS. SEND THEM BACK ACROSS THE BORDERS AND DO NOT ALLOW THEM ACCESS TO OUR COUNTRY. SEND BACK THE ILLEGALS AND HELP OUR OWN.

I agree with the writter on illegal mexicans here in Ardmore. Also go check, El Chico (ALOT), Interurban, Farmers Market, and the ones that sit at the unemployment office trying to get money for FREE. Also, go check the ER and find them all. They get things that I wouldn't even think of (being legal). So PLEASE MR. COPPER, go get'em. They are just waiting in all the FREE places.

I have not seen KXII stations since the rain. I have an amplified outdoor antenna now but I can't get KXII anymore, I also can't get regional stations anymore, only KTEN stations. Please fix your towers because Jay Leno is okay but Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon are boring. Before rain I got Dozens of channels, and now I am down to three and I am wondering what happened to all the channels, including KXII's. Thanks.

Is there any way a person can send in topics that I think should be checked out? There is a "disease" at Turner High School and kids are breaking out with blisters in their mouths, bottom of feet and bottom of hands. They said they had contacted the health Dept but they should contact the CDC. We live right next to Turner and it's scary. My main question - I see things that I would like to her about but cannot find a place on the website that tells me to enter a suggestion for a story.

Posted by: anonymous Just want to say that in my opinion, your weather coverage is the most accurate in the area. Just don't get too carried away with live storm coverage on all 3 HDTV channels (please) when one is enough. :)

About the Web Channel, please post every information that you receive about any mystery crimes. The Web Channel is not restricted to time slots on TV. You can include all the details you want to in a Web Channel article!! =] And details are very very important because crimes happen a lot. =[ And even worse some go unsolved. =S With active web channel articles about mystery crimes perhaps people can comment and that can partly help with solving crimes just like that Wal*Mart assault got solved. There are many mystery crimes and I watch TV and read articles also, and constantly see "There are no suspects." "Arrests have not been made." }=S Perhaps an entire web page or blog page or whatever you like to call it, which would be related to crimes a Crime Stopper Blog or Mystery Crimes Blog, or Mystery Crimes Web Page, you get the idea. I think that will be very helpful to solve crimes with a page on the Web Channel. (and if this idea already exists, where is the link??)

what has happened to the channels? there are two nbc. two fox channels. channel 11 and channel 12 are now both cbs. WHERE IS THE TV GUIDE CHANNEL? Cable one needs some competition in this part of texas. there is more ok news than tx news.

DOUBLE DEAL FOR GOLF COUPONS ARE A RIP OFF I KNOW I BOUGHT THEM TO FIND OUT THEY ARE IN FOUR SOMES 15 & 10 AND YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE COUPON AT A TIME THAT MEANS YOU HAVE TO PLAY FOUR TIMES TO USE ALL THE COUPONS THAT IS NOT A DOUBLE DEAL. AND YOU PAY TO HAVE THEM SENT TO YOU.

I still would like to see local FOX News broadcast on 12.3. This means more FOX news with national clips. =] Your news in on 12.1 and it used to have the 12 media logo but I recently have seen you have switched back to the CBS logo with lots more CBS News clips. =S =[ Your website has also shifted from 12 Media back to CBS. I know it was probably just regulation requirements that made the switch from 12 Media logo back to CBS logo but Fox News is my favorite news coverage. KXII is my favorite local station because of best reception. I Have had "DTV boxes" since 2008 and I am enjoying the local FOX subchannel. =] I guess I will have to wait until I get the outdoor antenna so I can view lots of stations from all over the region, which includes KDFW. And one more thing. Your commercials, on all 3 channels, are very very repetitive

My grandson is a senior at Ardmore High School. Yesterday he received a $100.00 check from the Chamber of Commerce. This by itself may not seem very much, but what I have not told you is Shane,my grandson has cystic fibrosis which is a terminal illness and has to miss a great deal of school but was still able to keep his grades at the honor roll level. I went to the Chamber of Commerce this morning and thanked them for recognizing his achievement but I want all KXII viewers to know that a great community we live in where our students are commended for their good grades. Thank you for letting me use this means to let everyone know what has been achieved by my grandson, Shane Shivers. Sincerely, Betty McKinney

How come there are so many illegal mexicans in ardmore and no one is doing anything about it. Let me inform you that they get more benefits than I do and I have worked all my life. I have a son that goes to college and gets very little help. They can go to the hospital or doctors office and get help for free, WHY. Go to McDonalds and get about 5 there.

Posted by: Robert Location: Sherman, TX
There are several people asking for less national news and more of a focus on local news events. I think that what we are seeing is local broadcasters trying to take a convenient path to what others have worked hard to attain and that is to broadcast to a national audiance. KXII used to be great to watch but since Haldeman came on the air, It is not the same... It has changed in a negative light. Does station management not recognize this?

Posted by: Larry Location: Ardmore
What you can do for us is to quit interrupting American Idol and Fringe with commercials OUTSIDE of the scheduled commercial time!! Last night, you ran 30 seconds of commercial right in the middle of the 2nd performance on American Idol. then, an hour or so later, you did the same thing DURING THE MIDDLE of a scene in Fringe!! What's going on? Been hiring dropouts for your engineering dept?

Who programs the electronic guide that is on the DTV converter? Both KXII and KTEN no longer list the programs. It just say no information, or DTV program. Thanks, Brian

Posted by: Anonymous well I am glad that Lori Price from bonham Tx got to at least watch some weather coverage because as I have wrote before I live north of boswell OK and channel 12 still isn't picking up but once in a great while so if it hadn't been for channel 10 picking up my family would not have known what the weather was doing unless we pulled out the radios like in the early and mid 1900s before TV.

Posted by: Lori Price Location: Bonham Tx
I was verry disapointed in the weather team friday night. They did a great job covering the storm till it came to fannin county. The moment it reached fannin county they just dropped live coverage . There was still rotation in the clouds and we would like to kbnow also what is going to happen to us in fannin county residents. I notice you coverered from munster and all of cook and grayson county so why are we not important enough for your attention.

Posted by: Anonymous I live north of boswell and have called the station to figure out why I cant pick up channel 12 but maybe 1 once a week if the weather is bad. and my problem still is not fixed and i am getting very tire of it because i did like channel 12 news and weather also I liked a lot of the programs on channel 12 but sent feb 6 I have had to watch a lot of channel 10 and I am tired of it. Channel 12 needs to fix the signal to 200 percent of do like the cell phone companies and put up more towers, or go back to the tower they were using before feb 6 at least then I could watch dtv 12. this really stinks and i will write until its fixed

Posted by: Anonymous I live north of soper and I am very unhappy with channel 12 dtv ,because it doesn't work 95 % of the time. I have called the station twice and it hasn't help I just get told how DTV is better but in my oppinion it isn't atleast with analog I had a choice of watching either 12 or 10 now I don't. so until you fix the problem i guess me and a lot of other people will just watch channel 10 and enjoy the fact that it is picking up.

Posted by: Betty Location: Antlers
Thanks Charlie for your help

Posted by: jasmine Location: idable ok
I would like to say I am very unhappy with yourtransition to DTV because every time you make adjustments to it suchas turning of analog and going to straight dtv or the latest whiching for uhf channel 20 to vhf channel 12 the dtv channel 12 goes blank and I have to watch channel 10 because it is picking up on dtv and also I miss my favorite shows. You need to get this fixed for good because you channel has been blank for 3 days since 2/13/09

This is my first time to give an opinion on any of the newscasts I have viewed so I do not know if I am posting this in the right place. That said, I think it is a sad day in American society when you can run a news story over the fact that 22 dogs are living in a car with a woman and not one time mention helping the women, WHO WAS HOMELESS!!!!!!!!!!!! You had no problem giving sympathy to the dogs but never once said anything about getting help for the poor woman. If she was trying to care for the dogs even though she was in a bad situation herself, that shows what a caring and compassionate person she is. SHAME on you for not taking the HUMAN aspect of this story in to account.

what has happened to LisAnn?

Posted by: Anonymous Location: Gainesville
The one thing that I can not stand is the commercial talking about the new DTV. It's the one that talks about the station shuting off on Feb 6. The problem with this is that the guy reading it as is scrolls down the screen talks so fast that you can not even understand what he's saying. Not to mention his voice makes me want to scream. I literally change the channel when see this come on. Is there anyway you can slow him down? That way I don't have to change the channel or mute the TV. Thanks!

Posted by: Jodi Location: Bonham
I wish KXII was available on DTV in Bonham. DTV promised "local news" then, after trying for a solid month to get in touch with a DTV rep that speaks english, I was told DFW is "local", and we would have to pay a $200 early termination fee if we cancelled. 11 more months and counting before I can get CABLEONE. I hate DVT, there is always a problem with reception, you can't get an english speaking tech support in any reasonable time frame, billing is often incorrect, AND they will add costly "packages" to your account WITHOUT authorization, that you may not even notice until you get your bill...since very few people try to tune into channels they shouldn't have!

At times I feel that KXII covers more National and Oklahoma news thing Grayson/Fannin Counties. I know that you guys want to be wide spread, but aleast if you are going to be the BEST TEXOMA NEWS, please bring some local news back to the TV. Have a phone line where we can call on stories that air and you can air our comments on TV off pasted stories/interviews etc. I have really enjoyed pieces KXII did about the crew members ex: M. Brown, L. Anderson, and others. I think that since you guys get some many new people that it's hard to keep up with you guys. Introduce them let us know who that are instead of them doing a story without us forming a bond between your reporters. Also what about when going to commerical ads that you play some type of songs from any range from oldies to whatever. Maybe you can do that in the AM NEWS to make it not so boring to watch. Speaking of AM News, I watch it ever now and then. Loosen up and have some fun. It's not always have to be serious.

you guys should take a poll on your website about law enforcment approval ratings in southern okla. the stolen patrol car sure does bring up alot of unhappy comments. iv been to diffrent locations and spoke with law enforcement officials, and i was suprised to have respect for those officers because they are nothing like southern oklahomas law enforcement. seriously it is an issue north of the river. a pretty important one at that!

keep us informed with hampton inn!! i can tell kxii really wants to let everyone know. im glad i dont work there because if i didnt get my check the manager definatly wouldnt have been able to answer any questions! nobody works for free and they are taking advantage of those workers! iv just had problems getting paid before and i know how it feels. im sure those workers live pay check to pay check like me!

why has the station been off the air for the last 2 days i have satelite not over the air with antena.

A tube in KXII's transmitter failed early Sunday morning (10/13.) This is unrelated to scheduled antenna work detailed on this page. You can see more on this unexpected outage and what KXII is doing to get it resolved at this link: http://www.kxii.com/home/headlines/30868109.html

I noticed more local TV stations nationwide are offering "what's going around" in regards to current illnesses reported by doctors and hospitals. They make the report weekly..would love to have KXII offer the same kind of reporting...Great idea! Thanks so much for the suggestion! -Staff

it is a was idea for the government bail out but wouldnt you think to help the people that has the home loans they cant pay if you bail out the people it would in turn bail out the banks and would have a better economic impact and probly would be better in the long term
