This week's interview: Mary Burrow

The main purpose of the Mary Burrow interview is as always with Info Magazine and now, Info Out Loud, is to inform people. It is so important to remember and put names to the word “victim.” In this case Mr. Freddie Raper. I ask you all to remember this wonderful hard working man. This man was a husband and a father. What happened on December 4th 2003 was an accident that changed the lives of so many. Mary Burrow did not run over Mr. Raper on purpose, and she came to Info Out Loud to tell her story. To tell people that in a second your whole life can change and how it will affect everyone involved. Just in telling people about this interview has made a difference in how they handle their driving and alertness when coming upon an accident. Many people have told me that it has affected them in a way where they stop and think before they go around or through an accident scene. They think about this story. Mr. Raper needs to know he did make a difference as far as I’m concerned. How many lives will this story save? Did Mr. Raper have a hand in this story. I think so. My heart goes out to all of those that had their lives changed because of this terrible accident.

This woman is very remorseful for what has happened. These things are called accidents for a reason. I hate for both families involved and I hate it that someone is trying to make an example and punish this woman for an "accident". Just knowing what happened that morning is enough to haunt her the rest of her days. So no one has driven in bad visablity early in the morning?? It's very dangerous, and I believe they said she was speeding due to their vantage point. I'm sure it looked as if she was going 80 mph. I am truely sorry for the families as I believe Mrs. Burrows is and this was a terrible "ACCIDENT"

first time i have seen this on this web site.but in regards to this story,i wasnt there but there are other accidents where the charges should have been more but wasn,t.like stated,it was an accident, there are alot of people that should not drive and do,they are blind as abat refuse to wear glasses, drink and drive, but yet are still allowed to drive with sometime tragic results.alot of them are never charged which is not right. i sure for mary burrows it was a terrible accident.

This is a very tragic story. I think the things that were put on this woman were very stupid. This lady is obviously remorseful. Why don't they just let it go. To the family, you need to forgive this lady. God would want you to. God bless all of you.

This lady does not seem to have any remorse at all for running over and killing this man! She tries to defend herself through the entire interview. If she rolled her eyes one more time I thought I would scream!
