Uh, my esteemed colleague, and Texas graduate... Your view is clouded like young Colt McCoy's was after seeing the K-State blitz Saturday. Texas outright beat OU last year... but this year will be different.
I don't mean to be a Sooner homer on this, (I graduated from UNT who lost to OU, 79-10) but they simply have better athletes right now. Their offensive line is certainly better than Texas'... Their speed on defense can shut down the Horns' offense, and OU's receivers are too much for the Texas secondary.
Look at the prior opponents as well. True, Miami is not the team they used to be, but struggling at UCF wasn't the Horns' best performance this year... If you look at the evidence through the past five games, OU is the favorite.
