Fire these coaches NOW!!!

Attention Tom Osborne, Bill Byrne and Deloss Dodds, you must fire these coaches: Bill Callahan, Dennis Franchione, Greg Davis.

The Big XII has fallen from the ranks of the elite conferences on the college football landscape, and the way to fix that is to get rid of these coaches that have proven they obviously can't cut it.

Nebraska should fire Bill Callahan.  The West Coast Offense just doesn't work in the land of the corn.  Let's get a guy in there who will run the Slot-T or maybe even bring back the Option or Wishbone attack.  Let's get a guy in there who will go out and get the biggest fastest and meanest defensive lineman he can find so that opposing Quarterbacks leave Memorial Stadium with bruised bodies as well as bruised egos.  The state of the once great Husker nation is at a pitiful low.  This is not good for the conference.  The Big XII needs a strong Nebraska to be a strong conference.

Texas A&M should fire Dennis Franchione.  The wizard when it comes to turning around programs, just couldn't get over the hump in the Big XII.  Yes, he did beat Texas last year, but Colt McCoy wasn't even fit to run a peewee team that week and should have never been on the field.  A&M has had Top 25 recruiting classes in every year of Fran's tenure in Aggieland and what do they have to show for it?  A blowout loss to Tennessee in the Cotton Bowl in 2005 to finish 7-5 on the year.  Let's get a coach in there who can restore the "Wrecking Crew" to Kyle Field.   Lets get a coach in there who can make the Aggies competitive again, because they just aren't anymore.  The Big XII needs a strong A&M to be a strong conference.

Texas should fire Offensive Coordinator Greg Davis.  If Mack Brown hadn't convinced a lanky, athletic QB/DB from Houston named Vincent Young to come to Texas to play his college football, Greg Davis would ALREADY be out of a job.  The supposed offensive mastermind behind the Longhorns 2005 National Championship created 1 play that allowed VY to run all over the competition that year.  Were it not for the transcendence of #10 Texas wouldn't have their title and the horrible job Greg Davis does installing and calling the UT offense would be more in the spotlight.  The Longhorns will never return to prominence with Davis calling the plays.

My message to the Big XII Athletic Directors is simply this: Fix it and fix it fast.  Your conference is floundering.
