With all the attention that Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, and Marion Barber get, one Cowboys' star seems to get pushed aside. Jason Witten has quietly become the best all-around tight end in football. While Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzalez may be slightly better pass-catchers, neither has the complete package. Witten's 15 catches on Sunday broke the Cowboys single-game record for receptions in a game. It tied him for the most in NFL history for a tight end with Kellen Winslow. With apologies to the likes of Novacek, Cosbie, DuPree, and Ditka, Jason Witten is already the best tight end in Cowboys history. He has the numbers to back it up.
