Mitchell Report littered with current, former Rangers
In the Mitchell Report, I counted 14 former or current Texas Rangers on the list of 82 players mentioned in the report detailing those who have abused steroids.
That's roughly 17% of the players mentioned in the entire report.
Juan Gonzalez. Jose Canseco. Rafael Palmeiro. These are players who Rangers fans shelled out the dough to go and see during their "heyday" of the late 1990's.
I truly hope Rangers fans enjoyed that one playoff win in franchise history. It apparently came at a high cost.
You would think a team full of players looking for that extra edge would, I don't know, maybe win a few more ballgames?
I was embarrassed to be a Rangers fan before today. Now you can add "ashamed" to that description.
