We were shocked when the Dallas Mavericks became the first #1 seed to lose in the first round of the NBA playoffs since they expanded the 1st round to a 7 game series.

Now we are shocked that the Dallas Cowboys have become the first #1 seed to lose in the first round of the NFL playoffs since they revamped the playoff format in 1990.

Frustrating doesn't begin to describe what hard-core Dallas sports fans must be going through these days.

I am a transplant to the North Texas area having grown up in Houston, so this hasn't hit me as hard as I know it has hit some of you.

I never thought that the Cowboys were gonna lose that game.  Not until Tony Romo threw that interception with 8 seconds left in the game did I ever think that Dallas would not be playing next week.  Now the offseason has begun for the Cowboys and the second guessing won't stop until next September.

There is one high note today to pass along: pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training in just 1 month.
