Denison's T.J. Taylor and Sherman's Brad Hambrick both have been named to the all-state team by the TABC. It made me realize that these are great times for these two basketball programs. They have both made the playoffs the last two years in a row. They have each made a significant run in the post-season recently. It's only going to get better. Taylor is just a sophomore and is already being looked at by Oklahoma, UCLA, and others. Sherman has a super-soph as well, in Cameron Clark, who will probably be all-state next year. These teams have had success in the past, but it's been a long time since the talent level was so high around here. I say that with apologies to now coach Jeff McCullough, who was quite the "baller" in the early 90's.
