Looks like the Dallas Mavericks have hired a new coach. Rick Carlisle has agreed to a four year deal (according to league sources). A press conference should be coming soon.

Posted by: Roger Location: Denison I guess the days of watching exciting NBA in Dallas are over. We should all prepare for the boring 80-something-point eastern conference games. I love the Mavs, but is this really the direction we want to go in? We got the seventh spot this year, but will we see any playoffs at all with Carlisle at the helm? Better spend some money on some good free agents.
