It was the worst kept secret in the NBA, but Oklahoma City's new team is called the Thunder. I have to admit, I liked many of your suggestions better. But the trend in the NBA is non-mascot type nicknames and non-traditional color combinations. I understand the reasoning for Clay Bennett going with blue, orange, and red. I just think it's a bad mix. No worse than the Mavs original combo of blue and green though.
