Let's face it: the Dallas Cowboys just won't be as good as they were last year in the regular season. 13-3 was a phenominal mark a year ago, but the 'Boys needed a couple of fluke wins to make it happen.
This year, expectations are as high as they've ever been at Valley Ranch. But, I don't think Cowboys fans should expect another 3-loss season. I'm going with, what seems to be a popular pick, an 11-5 season for Wade Phillips' squad. However, I think this team has the mettle to finally break the barrier and notch a couple of post season victories this time around. I think 11-5 is good enough for Dallas to win the NFC East and earn both a home field advantage and a first round bye for the Cowboys.
This season should provide just as much excitement as last year's, but just be prepared for some of those breaks that ALL seemed to go the Cowboys' way last year, to turn the other way a couple of more times in 2008.
I'm excited for another run to, and then through the post season for the Cowboys. My popcorn is ready. Is yours?
