Reed to Garrett: Run the ball

First I want to make one thing clear to Cowboys fans.  When the Cowboys lose, and Terrell Owens speaks into the microphone, ignore it.  T.O. is an emotional guy.  Of course he wants the ball.  In his mind, he is the greatest player ever to step onto the football field.  Therefore, if he gets the ball, his team wins.  I understand his thinking.  I just don't agree that he should take it public.

Tony Romo handled the situation perfectly this week.  He played dumb at Valley Ranch.  Like he didn't even know what T.O. had said or what the media could possibly be talking about.  The Cowboys will win again, and this will all go away.

Now, the real reason the Cowboys didn't win.  Marion Barber, 8 carries, Felix Jones, 0.  That ought to sum it up.  Jason Garrett called perhaps the worst game of his career.  He completely gave up on the run.  Barber should have been wearing down that Redskin defense late in the game.  But instead, the Cowboys had 3-and-outs trying to get Owens the ball.

Michael Irvin wanted the ball more than anyone in the NFL history.  But somehow he was OK with Emmitt Smith winning rushing titles, because they were winning Super Bowls.

Get Barber and Jones involved like you did at Green Bay, and this team will be tough to beat.
