Big game Bob? Really?

Oklahoma Sooners head coach Bob Stoops has plenty of credibility when it comes to winning.  Or does he?  Stoops can always point to that national championship that he won shortly after he arrived in Norman.  And there's "the streak" against Texas.  But what has he done lately?  4 straight BCS losses and 3 losses to Texas in the last 4 tries.  Ouch.  How long can he hang on to past glory before Sooners fans start asking questions?

I am by no means suggesting he can't coach, or that the Sooners go in a different direction.  I remember the John Blake days.  But I think it's fair to ask what's going on in Norman, and why can't this team seem to get over the hump anymore?

Stoops and his staff were out coached by Mack Brown and company on Saturday.  I think the Sooners have the better players.  But the Texas Longhorns have the better TEAM right now.

Its ok got that one wrong but it will be ok when we beat osu pretty good this weekend and texas will beat A&M , but this is useless because OU will jump over UT when this happens and play in the big 12 championship and then boom big game bob is right where he needs to be and thats playing flordia in the national title game lol man im good

Posted by: Sports Authority Sorry Forrest but you only got it half correct. OU beat TT but you didn't leapfrog the Longhorns. Maybe it's because the Longhorns beat the Sooners by 10 on a NEUTRAL field.

All im going to say is look at the record at home since bob stoops took over the job at oklahoma....i think he has only lost one game out of fiftey something....lol not thats good and watch next saturday ou will beat tech move ahead of texas in the polls and wrap up the season as big 12 south champions just because of their rank......which will be higher than any other big twelve south team therefore ou will go to the big 12 championship game agianst mizzou.......then we will beat mizzou and when its all said and done we will play the florida gators in the national championship game..............and this will be a heck of a game really excited to see this happen!!!

Posted by: Sports Authority Is the the Big game Bob that tried a fake punt in the Texas game and an onside in the bowl game that changed everything? I think it should be Big time BOOB Stoops !

Jack, Abviously you don't know Jack. OU has won the Big 12 championship about 75% of the time since it's inception. Meaning, Texas has lost multiple games which caused them to not represent the south division. Want to talk about 2006 when your Texas team "Choked" away a gift wrapped south division title?

Not just Bobs, but OU's heart and soul is in Arizona, buddy. When his bro left for AU, so did his SWAGGER. Not that his bro is better than him (he's not) but when he left, he took something with him. We ain't scared no more. HOOK'EM

Stoops is a choke artist. Mack has totally reversed this ownership thing.
