Playoff Time!!
The high school football playoffs are about to begin. Several Texoma teams will try to keep their season alive on Thursday/Friday/Saturday night. After the battle of the axe, Sherman and Denison both have to quickly put the big game behind them. The Jackets take on Royse City. Sherman plays J.J. Pearce. Both teams have an excellent chance to advance to the 2nd round. Durant gets a tough draw going to El Reno. And despite losing only one game, Plainview has to go on the road in the opening round. Go ahead and post your thoughts on the post-season. Who has the best chance to play beyond Thanksgiving? Davis? Sulphur? Celina? Denison? Sherman? Should be quite a ride.

**Editor's Note: I think Gunter will have a tough matchup in round 2 against Pilot Point. If they can clear the Bearcats, they could make a run, but that's easier said than done. Whatever happens, Jake Fieszel has done a great job replacing all 11 starters on offense to get his team a district title and a good spot in the bracket. First, they have to beat Prairiland! - DR
