Several teams in the area have surprised early, some have disappointed. The Sherman Bearcats have to be happy with their 2-1 start, while Denison is a bit disappointed to be 2-1. Both teams appear to be in good shape as they continue to prepare for district play. Gainesville is 3-0, what a great start for the Leopards. Ardmore has struggled and so has Durant.
