Great season by Rangers, now go sign Cliff Lee
Great season by the Texas Rangers. The best ever. By far. Now if they want to have another season like it, they must go out and re-sign Cliff Lee. Even if he goes to another team, it was worth the trade to get him. He did what he was brought to Texas to do. He made them a serious post-season contender. He made them a World Series team. He made them better than the Yankees. The Giants simply pitched out of their mind in the same series that the Rangers bat went cold. If Cliff Lee returns to Texas, the Rangers will return to the top of the A.L. West. And maybe, we can talk about the chance to go to another World Series in 2011.
