Heavy rainfall over central portions of Texoma brought relief from the recent dry spell, but it was too much too fast for many spots. Although severe flooding was not reported, about an inch of water did get into some Kingston city buildings. The primary effect was lots of flooded roadways.
The maps below show some estimated rainfall amounts. I compared these to actual rain gage readings and in all cases they were very close.
Drier weather is in store Friday-Monday and it should be a fabulous weekend weather-wise.
