Dramatic Weather Changes This Weekend

We’re looking at some wild weather over the weekend. A frontal boundary moving southward Friday-Saturday is likely to have thunderstorms along it. This could interfere with Friday Night Blitz football action.  The rain could linger into Sunday, depending on the path of an upper low dropping in behind the front.
This feature expected to be pushed southward in the flow around an upper high building to our west. It will also be pulling in jet stream energy so it will tend to gain strength as it moves our way.
If the upper low is to our east then we’re more likely to have sunny or partly cloudy skies with pleasantly cool nights, mild days, and rather breezy.
If, on the other hand, the low comes overhead or slightly to our west, we could have rainy cool conditions as long as it hangs around. Right now, my experience and the computer model trends suggest rain could linger into Sunday. As the low slowly sloggles eastward, we should be on the dry side with decreasing clouds by Sunday afternoon or perhaps Monday.
Nights will be in the “open your windows range” in the 50s, as drier air moves in and the clouds move out.
So it looks like some very interesting…and definitely cooler… fall weather ahead.
Take Care,

When you show the radar could you stop it after a few cycles so that we could see what the current view is. It's hard to watch since it starts over too quickly.
