December 21, 2007
Intense low pressure passing by on Saturday, December 22 will make for strong northerly winds of 25-35mph with gusts to 40mph possible. A little rain/snow is possible over southern Oklahoma as the core of the upper low moves overhead; but with daytime temperatures expected well above freezing, it will just be some flakes in the air, if at all.
Very cold morning temperatures in the teens and 20s can be expected Sunday and Monday morning.
Another upper low should pass by on Christmas Eve; however, the Saturday front will press the surface moisture well to our south...so it's very unlikely we'll very much rainfall.
The upper low should be to our east for Christmas Day. It will be cold, but dry, for December 25th this year.
So...the odds of a White Christmas for any part of Texoma this year is very close to zero.
Here's hoping that you have a Blessed...and Merry...Christmas!
