Another active weather week is in progress. Two cold fronts and two upper troughs moving by will highlight this. The first front is arctic in nature, and it will bring strong northerly winds and much colder temperatures by Tuesday afternoon/evening.
As gusty south winds resume on Wednesday, they will be providing “fuel” for the second trough/front to generate rain and maybe a few thunderstorms Thursday.
Another quick shot of cold air behind this front will be followed (hopefully) by some quieter and mild weather for the weekend.
The Thursday system may bring some decent rainfall to some parts of Texoma. The winter drought continues, and we need some moisture very badly.
