Although last Saturday (Feb. 16^th) was cold, it was just a few degrees too warm for snow or ice…fortunately. Especially great were the generous rainfall amounts over the majority of Texoma…the most significant rainfall in two months for most locations.

Higher amounts tended to be further east, which is the norm: Pushmataha and Choctaw counties received 2-3” of rain, as did Fannin and Lamar Counties on the Texas side. Msot areas from Ada to Sherman wound up in the 1-2" range with lower amounts further west.

As always, amounts vary and you may have received somewhat more or less than the totals posted here. This is provided as a general overview of rainfall tallies only.

 In any case…despite the cold and soggy Saturday, it was definitely a blessing.
