The snow across Texoma is a bit late, but well within what we can expect as far as records go. In fact, we’ve seen 6” of snow as late as March 29th. Hopefully that will NOT happen this year!
The same storm that brought the snow was responsible for a few tornadoes in western Oklahoma March 2. Doug Drace, one of our faithful KXII chasers, uploaded video of this nighttime tornado in Kiowa Colunty, OK to Youtube.
Check it out…you can appreciate from this clip how challenging it is to pinpoint a tornado at night…
It looks like a fairly cool week ahead with temperatures well below the average for early March.
