Unsettled Pattern Through Wednesday...

May 8, 2008

A fast-moving jet stream flow will drive two upper lows and surface cold fronts through Texas and Oklahoma in the coming days.

The first one brings a chance of thunderstorms Saturday. Mother’s day should be windy but dry…and then another shot of rain comes in with trough #2 Tuesday-Wednesday.

A dramatic upper-air pattern shift may take place by next Wednesday. I intend to write a blog about this Friday evening.

Watch for it!

Take Care,

Steve LaNore

The radar on here hasn't been working in forever, what's the deal? The station took a power hit during Monday's storms and part of the hardware we use to get our radar to the web was damaged. We are working to reslove this as quickly as possible. -Thanks, Staff
