Record Heat May 19...

May 19, 2008

A day of record/near record heat kicked off the week thanks to very dry air and strong May sunshine.

The graphic below shows the highs for the sizzler that was May 19.

After below normal temperatures averaging about 2 degrees below the May average, you expect above continued normal temperatures, with a strong southerly flow and an upper ridge overhead this week.

Take Care,

Steve LaNore

Chief Meteorologist
