Windy Pattern Not Done Yet

pic

Looks like another wind-maker may be in the offing by Tuesday/Wednesday (June10-11) as a similar set-up to what we had June 3-5 takes place. While it doesn’t look to be quite as intense as the June 5th event, very gusty winds are indicated.

The map shows how the jet stream winds blowing over the Rockies help to create low pressure on the downwind side. In any case, we're not done with the windy pattern just yet. As I have mentioned on the air recently, this has been the windiest year I can remember in decades. Looks like the blustery ride will continue.
