Doppler 12 Live is all over KXII.com

You may have noticed that our Weather Page (www.kxii.com/weather) has been changed quite a bit over the weekend. We’ve added seven (7!) different looks at Texoma through the eyes of Doppler 12 Live, the one and only local Doppler radar in our area.

radars

So if you’re at work or at home and want to see what the weather is doing where you eat, drink, and sleep—or just want a zoomed-in look at your area updated every minute—(say, if you live in Ardmore, Ada, Durant, Sherman/Denison, Gainesville, Bonham, or Paris…), then check out www.kxii.com/weather. Because when seconds count, KXII has you covered like nobody else.

Thanks to all of you for visiting KXII.com!

I like the new radars. however, there is always room for improvement. Is there a way to get a legend for the different icons for storm cells on the interactive map. Most of them are intuitive, but there is a red triangle that is not. Also, is there some way to delete the KXII weather video window in the bottom left corner? It takes up a lot of room when you are trying to watch a storm's progress, especially one moving from SW to NE.

It's pouring at my house. Got up ready to go outside and walk and it's come a flood. We had almost an inch accumulated over the last couple of days and now it's added almost another inch. Thanks for radar that notices the little people out here (Dallas doesn't seem to realize Fannin County even exists);)

when showing the radar map of a storm please put the action in the center of the screen. i'm sitting here in van alstyne with weather to the southwest of town and you don't even show it but you show half a screen of oklahoma which has no weather to be seen.

We are 65 & 64 yrs old, respectively. We've been in this area for about 10 years & have seen the weather team change about 3 or 4 times. The change we really hate to see the most, is Megan's leaving. We have felt all along that her association with KXII moved the capabilities of the weather dept, to another level. The coverage and accuracy of forecasting is great & Steve (and Alan before that) has credited Megan more than once for a job well done. We watched her struggle & stumble at the start & saw her evolve into an excellent, on camera, personality. We love you Megan & we'll miss you. Good luck in Houston.

I love it when Megan's on! She's great.I wouldn't watch at all if it wasn't for her, Tom, and Charlie. By the way, has anyone noticed Charlie looks a little like Big Tex? Not an insult...
