Hurricane "Bertha": Up and Down...

July 9, 2008: UPDATE

Down again...up again..."Bertha" re-strengthened to a Category 2 Hurricane with 105mph winds July 9th.

“Bertha” had weakened July 8th after rapid intensification on July 7th..

This one has folks at the National Hurricane Center scratching their heads with all of these fluctuations.

The hurricane will likely turn northward, remaining at sea and not affect North America.
