It’s no secret we really need some rain, but northerly wind flow at all levels will keep Gulf moisture well to our south through Saturday. Winds will swing around to the southeast by Sunday and the moisture supply should slowly begin to increase.
An upper trough moving towards Texoma early next week looks to be our first hope for rain. By that time, the wind patterns should return a decent level of water vapor, which together with the trough offers significant rain potential.
