Needing Some Rain….

The first half of February brought several shots of rainfall and soil moisture recovered some during that time. In the past 10 days very little precipitation has fallen; it’s no secret things are in the “high fire danger” realm once again.
A cold front and upper trough may bring better rain prospects for Friday and Saturday. Not the best timing, but with winter winding down and spring chomping at the bit, it would be good to have a soaking about now. So I hope we cash in on this possibility.
