Raindrops on the eggs?

Raindrops on the eggs?

After some decent March rainfall, things have dried out during the past 10 days and fire danger has been getting worse once again.
Some needed rainfall is in the weather cards for this weekend, which is not the best timing for your Holiday (Easter) plans.
The map shows the expected position of a deep upper low by Saturday. The dry air will be replaced by a moisture-laden flow as the weekend approaches; this along with an approaching front is a classic set-up for substantial rainfall.
Of course, we could always get “dry slotted” and receive very little rainfall. The position of the upper level and surface features will govern what we get. For now, the potential for soaking rains during a portion of the coming weekend is at least an even money chance.
Take Care,
