A quieter weather pattern can be expected for much of the period April 19-25 as the jet stream retreats northward. This will give Oklahoma and Texas a break from all of the recent hail and stormy weather.
A cool start to the week with a chance of frost over parts of central and northern Oklahoma will transition to warmer days and milder nights by mid-week. Hopefully Texoma will escape any frost, but it will bear watching for the normal cold pockets on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Unbelievable!
This will be a welcome respite as no doubt unsettled spring weather will resume as April winds down.
