Fire Danger and Next Rainmaker...

An upper level low is expected to gradually take shape to our west this weekend, as the above maps shows.

Several waves of rising air are likely to rotate around the bottom of this low; each one will help to destabilize the atmosphere and generate rainfall.

In the meantime, gusty south winds will make for elevated fire danger through Saturday. Recent rainfall has helped, but dry fuels can still quickly make for trouble; outdoor burning is not recommended during the next few days.
