Rainy 1st Weekend of May?

An upper level low is expected to press a new cold front towards Texoma this weekend.

This system will have plenty of low-level moisture to lift, so it’s probably going to fire up some storms along it.

The steering currents are looking to be rather feeble once the front gets here; this means that it may wiggle back and forth over Oklahoma and Texas for several days.

Given this set-up, expect some rain on and off from Friday evening through early next week.

Good news for your yard (and our lakes); not so good for your picnic.
Take Care,

7.75 around Krogers in denison. How much you think the lake will go up to. That is after the upcoming rain. I have heard about 10 to 15 feet. Maybe more.

It's about time we got rain here in this part of Carter County. It was so dry here I saw two turtles heading south with canteens strapped on their backs. Maybe Healdton will get off water rationing now.

5.875" in my gauge in Ardmore

I looked through your Dopler Live and I guess Marietta and Love County are nonexistant. There is not one of them that shows Marietta. I know that channel 12 thinks that Sherman and Dennison are the most important places and then maybe if Ardmore or Gainesville are lucky they will be mentioned. But Love County residents would really appreciate it if you would let us know what is going on too!!!

I kept hearing forcasts of 2 to 5 inches. Did we miss that or has that just not gotten here yet?
