Rainfall potential through Saturday: UPDATED

14 May 2009: UPDATE

The last round of storms will come and go on Saturday (possibly beginning before sunrise).

Once again, there will be heavy rain potential with a good supply of moisture and plenty of lift available. In general, one to three inches can be expected (map above) but there's always the chance a few locations will get more than this.

Following the rain, a new forecast will be issued for Lake Texoma's expected crest which will probably be available on Monday. This will help determine how low the lake might go by the Holiday weekend.

See my other recent blog about a nice dry spell following the Saturday storminess.

Take Care,
