Severe potential through Wed AM

A combination of intense surface heating and lots of moisture may yield a few severe storms into the evening; a somewhat higher chance of storms with hail potential comes overnight. This overnight threat comes from an approaching upper trough and surface cold front.

The "SLGT" area on the map to your left indicates where the SPC thinks these may show up. This covers most of Texoma.

The thunderstorm risk should end during the day Wednesday (probably by lunchtime).

Quieter weather, with fairly hot temperatures, is expected Friday through the weekend as an upper ridge builds in.

could there a chance of tornadoes, or just hail and some strong winds?
