Very heavy rainfall, ranging from 1-4", fell across the northern half of Texoma the morning of June 3. Areas south of highway 70 received much less rainfall; Durant did experience considerable wind damage apparently from a decaying thunderstorm which produced a strong downburst (microburst) of perhaps 70mph.
