Complex Holiday Weather...

We’re facing a complicated weather pattern for the Labor Day weekend.

First, several waves of low pressure are going to be meandering around the central and eastern parts of the U.S. by this weekend. If we get sufficient return flow from the Gulf, at least scattered thunderstorms can be expected.

Secondly, the remnants of hurricane “Jimena” could get caught up in the jet stream and pulled northeastward towards Texoma. While the wind would be long gone before it arrived, it would certainly enhance the potential for heavy rainfall.

This is a forecast that will require day-to-day adjustment perhaps more than usual since “Jimena” is involved. Stay tuned.

Enjoy!
