Dry west to northwest flow aloft, along with building surface high pressure, spell “nice” for most of the weekend.
A fast-moving front and upper low drop in to end the weekend with a chance of rain Sunday evening. Several more fronts later into next week suggest Texoma soils will stay soggy, and our lakes will remain high.
As for temperatures, October 2009 looks pretty safe to go down as one of the top 10 coldest on record (since 1900). Stay tuned for our exact ranking as we close out the month next week.
