November Starts With Great Weather!

The long-awaited pattern change is at hand: sunshine and dry air can be expected to dominate Texoma weather into the first week of November.
For one thing, the storm track which has helped to produce low pressure to our west is shifting further north. These intense surface low-pressure areas pulled deep layers of moisture northward from the Gulf, allowing each front to produce a great deal of rain.
Without this moisture inflow, several dry fronts should pass through with little fanfare through Wednesday.
Secondly, the jet stream itself being further north means upper level troughs, which also provide lift and help to create rain, will be well away from Texas and Oklahoma skies.
So we’re in for a really good chance to dry out and check out the great outdoors. Enjoy!
Take Care,
