==================================

This is a significant event taking shape with the potential for more than 6" of snow in some areas, although the average will be closer to 3". Snow will develop from west to east as the upper low moves overhead Saturday.

Motorists are urged to check ahead before traveling. High winds along with occasional pockets of heavy snow could create blizzard conditions with near-zero visibility at times.  Snow will end from west to east during the day Sunday.

This could wind up being a record snow for the date and possibly for this late in the season.

Take Care,

    Reminds me of March 2008, when we had two storms dump more snow in each storm than we get in a year. And I think this one makes 4 offical snow events this year but I recall 5, because of some light flurries one day.

    Get this: A Winter Storm Watch has been posted for counties JUST to the north of Texoma for Saturday. I think there's some potential for a changeover to wet snow in parts of our area, as the core of the upper low moves by during the Saturday afternoon-evening time frame. Stay tuned, as this will be a very changeable situation!
