A shift in the overall weather pattern promises cooler conditions with a couple of rain chances for Texoma as we wrap up March and begin April.
The first system will pass Sunday/Monday in the form of a mid-level trough and surface frontal boundary. Cooler air will provide a couple of chilly mornings Tuesday and Wednesday (see map above).
The second system (map above) is less certain, but a more southern storm track seems to be taking shape in the longer-range models. This jet position supports the notion of a mid-level trough and front bringing rain to end March and begin April. This system would likely bring a cool start to the new month.
