Texoma Frost and Freeze Dates for Fall

We’re moving close to the time when we begin to watch for frost over Texoma. The average first frost dates range from October 20-30 in southern Oklahoma to the first few days of November on the Texas side of the river.

The first freeze usually follows the first frost by a week to 10 days.

These are the average first frost and freeze dates for selected Texoma locations. Data is not available for all cities, so choose the one nearest you for a very close estimate:

    Speak for your self Linda! I'm never happy for cold weather I wish it would stay around 70 year round. Being thin I haven't any insulation burrrrrrrr!

    Steve, I know ereryone is really happy that the weather is getting cooler, but it is still not cool enough. After the summer we had, could you ask the weather team to please stop saying " Plenty of Sunshine." We are ready for the cooler overcast days with no Sunshine ! Thanks for listening. I'm rerady for the holidays !!!
