The past week has seen daily high temperatures running well above average.

This trend will continue through the weekend. Normal daytime highs are in the low to mid 70s but we’ve generally seen 80 or better since early last week.

Southerly flow the majority of this week will make for warmer overnight temperatures. Rainfall has been scarce with only one rain day so far this month, the 11th.

This weekend may well be a cloudy and occasionally rainy one as a slow-moving upper trough interacts with a nearly stalled frontal boundary. It’s been a fairly dry month so we could use the rain with the timing of course not so great. I will update this blog mid-week as the system takes shape .
