"Warm Wave" through March 20th...

An unseasonably warm pattern will remain in place through at least March 20.

A very strong ridge will remain aloft over the eastern U.S., and this will bottle up cold air masses in Canada. Near-record warmth is expected in places like North Dakota and Minnesota where highs will be 25 to 30 degrees above average.

For Texoma, we’re looking at temperatures 10 to 15 degrees above the norm at least into early next week. There are no significant fronts or upper level troughs headed our way, so rainfall will be spotty.

A few showers are possible on any given day thanks to a series of weak waves in the steering flow and plentiful low-level moisture; but a repeat of last weekend’s soaking rainfall is not in the weather cards for a while.
