It did indeed turn out to be a very soggy Easter Sunday. On the bright side....we definitely needed the rain. Unfortunately, we had some severe weather too. At 7:15 pm on Sunday, a tornado warning was issued for Montague County. A tornado was reported 2 miles north of Montague by the Nocona Fire Department. We had no reports of any damage. There was also large hail embedded in some of the storms. Below, you can find some rainfall totals and some of the hail reports. Looks like things will be quiet through Wednesday. Another storm system moves in on Thursday and brings rain chances with it. There is a chance of thunderstorms through Sunday. Let's hope we don't get any severe weather!
Have a great week! Aimee Wilmoth-KXII
